What is Botox?

Botox injections are a quick, safe and effective way to reduce the effects of skin ageing, while also preventing new lines and wrinkles from forming.

Botox works by blocking nerve signals in muscles, when injected into specific areas of the face. This temporarily relaxes the muscle, reducing the effects of facial movement.

Frown line (Glabella lines)

These are lines that form vertically between the eyebrows, often referred to as the '11s lines'. They can give the appearance of concentrating or looking angry.

Forehead lines

These are lines that form horizontally across the forehead and are made more apparent when raising your eyebrows. These are commonly seen as a sign of aging and can begin as early as your late teens/early twenties.

Crow's feet

Crow's feet are the fine lines and wrinkles that appear at the outer corners of the eyes. They are often referred to as "smile lines" because they become more noticeable when you smile, laugh, or squint, but are often a sign of ageing.

Brow lift

With age, the muscles responsible for lifting the brows tend to weaken, often flattening the brow causing hooding of the eyelids. Botox can be strategically placed to relax the muscles that pull the eyebrow downwards, restoring shape to the brow.
