There's a reason why lip filler is one of the most popular aesthetic treatments in the world. Lip enhancement can completely transform your face - whether it's a volume enhancement, symmetry correction, or shape formation, they should always look natural and in keeping with the surrounding facial features.
At Norwich Aesthetics Clinic we specialise in natural looking, undetectable dermal filler, and it's with these principles in mind we always approach every lip filler patient.
Enhancement

Lip fillers can be used to enhance lips that already have an attractive shape. Here we will accentuate the Cupid's bow and the natural shape of the top lip. The bottom lip will be volumised to reach a perfect size ratio between the top and bottom lips, ensuring a gentle tapering towards the edge of the mouth.

Correction
Lip filler can be used to correct a range of asymmetries seen in the lips. Whether this lies within the Cupid's bow, the body of the lip or the lower lip, we will create a plan to bring them as close as possible to mirror image.

Shape Formation
Creating a beautiful Cupid's bow from a thin, flat top lip is one of the most technically challenging but one of the most transformative filler treatments there is. Sometimes a 2 stage approach is necessary but this will always be discussed before your treatment is carried out.

Rejuvenation

Bringing hydration and volume to those lips that have lost volume over a number of years is not only a transformative treatment, but is a real confidence booster. The aim is to restore your lips to their former glory and in doing do so rebalance the entire face.

Hydration

Sometimes a small amount of soft filler is enough to give a hydrating affect and lift out fine lines that may have formed in the lips over a number of years.
What Can Lip Fillers Achieve?
FAQs
How long do the results last?
Typically lip filler results last around 8-12 months
When Will I See the Results?
The results are apparent immediately, however it will usually take 2 weeks before the filler settles and swelling is completely resolved.
What is the Downtime?
This will vary from person-to-person. Some will have no bruising and very mild swelling that is gone within a day or two, whereas some will have noticeable bruising and a much more pronounced swelling that can take days to fully settle. We would always encourage our patients to plan for the more noticeable outcome.
Will it Hurt and How Long Does it Take?
We use a topical numbing cream prior to injecting which is generally very effective. Whilst you can often still feel a small scratch when being injected, it's a generally very well tolerated procedure. The procedure itself can take between 10-30 minutes depending on complexity.
