What is it? Designed for both the face and body, Profhilo is a slow-release hyaluronic acid (HA) which is strategically placed into your skin and gradually disperses into your tissue.

How does it work? As our bodies age, we produce less collagen and elastin - the cells which provide skin firmness, strength and shape. When the number of these cells drop or weaken, your skin loses its smooth, firm shape, creating creases and wrinkles.
Profhilo treatments effectively stimulate the reproduction and replenishment of new collagen in the skin by slowly releasing hyaluronic acid - a natural substance produced by your body that is critical for skin hydration and nutrition. This reduces skin laxity, increases elasticity and hydration, resulting in smoother, fresher looking skin.

What areas can be treated? The most commonly treated areas are the face and the neck, however Profhilo can also be used to improve skin quality in the chest, hands, arms, abdomen and knees.

How many treatments do I need and how long does it last? Initially most people will require 2-3 treatment sessions 4 weeks apart. Results will become visible around the time of the second treatment and will continue to improve for up to 8-12 weeks. Following this, single treatment sessions are recommended at interval of around 4-6 months.

How much does it cost? For the initial treatment sessions, the price is £525 for 2 or £750 for 3. Each top up session at 4-6 months is £285.
